While FL has some excellent CCW laws, theres still a few clauses that prevent me from carrying where I spend most of my time.

I work for local Government, and they state that we cannot carry on work owned property (on person). Lots of loopholes and "if's" about that but the bottom line is, there's a sign on the door and its written in the policy manuals.

I shuttle DOC inmates a lot too, so there's a no-no on my end, and drive a work vehicle back and forth so that eliminates the ability to have one in my vehicle nearby.

i work for the gov and they will not allow me to carry my personal ccw pistol on base, but i have a open carry on base with my work M9.
