Someday I'll find me a .41mag to complement my .357 and .44mag.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.
I have been trying to talk my wife's cousin into selling me his Ruger Blackhawk in 41 mag.He bought it and shot it maybe 20 times and says it kicks worse than his Colt Anaconda 44 mag.He does not believe in selling any of his guns.I want a 41 to try hunting whitetails with. I have heard it is a lot flatter shooting than the 44 mag. I know Elmer Keith originally developed the cartridge for law enforcement but it never caught on.I love handgun hunting with either my 44's or my 454 all with iron sights.

I'm still debating on which handgun to hunt with. I like the .460, but they cost way too much. I like the .454 because it has a little more power than the .44. Plus I can shoot the .45 Long Colt with the .454 also.
I guess I'm saying either the .454 or the .44. But that just my opinion.
Yup, but the prices I've seen for the .460, they cost a few hundred dollars more than the .44's and .454's.
I'd love to buy a .460, they just cost too much for me.
480 Ruger for me, same recoil as a 44mag(maybe a little more) and butt loads of power!!!
